| Eat Proud at Steak Escape |
It was last year when we got to know that there was this newly opened restaurant at Accra Mall called Steak Escape and we got to try it only yesterday! I was curious if it was a locally conceptualized as
it taste really good! After asking help from google that I got to know that Its franchised and was bought to Ghana from Ohio, USA (not really sure if it was a local Ghanaian or Foreigner but high chances its a tie up!).
Their concept is kinda same of the Subway Sandwich where you design your own sandwich but the difference is that you only get to choose your vegetable and sauce of your choice as to the meat its already fixed base on their menu and they only have one type of bread (either Footlong or Bun) What I love about Steak Escape is they bake their own bread, so you get to eat freshly baked bread every time you order.
So we ordered Cheese-steak sandwich, I got the Grand Chicken and Richard got the Grand Escape (beef) cut into two so we share each half, we also ordered totally loaded fries(topped with cheese bacon and mayo) to share which is taste good as well! We were speechless and surprised as it taste so good! Cheesy, freshly grilled sandwich top with vegetable and sauce of your choice! Its just SO GOOD! We were not expecting it to be as tasty as it was. Their homemade lemonade is good as well! Steak escape is a MUST TRY! when you are within the area or at Accra Mall! This will be prefect if they open a branch for quick takeaway at the airport and start doing delivery service as well!
