Thai food in Africa! There are few Thai restaurants in Accra as there aren't much Thai people here. I have only visited two Thai restaurant on my 2 years of stay here in Ghana and this is our favorite!
Zion Thai is a Thai owned restaurant located in Osu. This place is a must go for Thai food when in Ghana. You can opt to sit outdoor or inside an air condition room. It is a small place but with a lot of choices for Thai dish (below Menu). They can be really spicy but you can always tell the server to make it mild or not spicy at all ( That is how we do it, we cant take spicy food).
For today's visit we decided to sit outdoor, as always we would always order for beverage, I always order their Thai Milk Tea while Richard go for the local beer, they also got some Thai beers.

Service would really depend on the number of people dining in, if the restaurant is packed don't expect your food to come within 15 minutes as they only have one cook (the Thai owner) with a local girl assisting her. This time when we visited restaurant was packed and our food came in one by one.
Everything taste good as expected, all the food we ordered are not spicy as requested. The only complain we have was the Pad Thai, the noodles they used is different (run out), they are supposed to use the flat noodles "Sen Lek" but they used thin noodles that being used for cooking Chinese stir fry noodles, but it still taste like Pad Thai though! :)

We did not order any rice because we don't want to go home bloated but we highly recommend trying their Green Curry Rice (Pad Gaeng Klew Wann), Thai Salad and Thai Curry.
