Sharing our complete Turkey itinerary from May 25, 2017 to June 3, 2017.
Hubby and I was actually hesitant to visit turkey as it remains in a heightened state of alert, there is a warning that a terrorist attack in the country is "likely" to happen in 2017 again. The last major attack targeted a night club in Istanbul was in New Year's day of 2017 and as I know, well base on the Info I have gathered as many as 16 attacked happened in 2016 alone. The country has been plagued by incidents since mid-2015 also. So with the high threat from terrorism in the Country hubby and I did considered other country like France, Belgium and Holland but I just couldn’t get my Ghana’s resident permit visa done and that led me to not getting my Schengen visa done as well! We badly wanted to go on a break away from the hustle and bustle of Ghana and behold the beautiful country of Turkey called offering a very good price (it got significantly cheaper because of the terror attacks keeping visitors away). So we were like “screw it lets go! If ever we die we die together right? “ Haha we are just so desperate huh? Oh well, To cut the story short yes we did push through with Turkey.

All the hotels we stayed in are 3-4 star hotels are all in a prime location, very near to tourist spot especially the hotel we stayed at in Istanbul, If you want to get a nice photo with all the mosque as your background I recommend staying at any hotel in Sultanahmet area near the mosques and go early in the morning around 6:30-7:00am, I assure you that no photobombers will be seen in your photos.
We got a travel agency to help us with the all airport transfer, local tours, hotel and local flight bookings for Day 1 to Day 7 until we arrived Bodrum with my desired Itinerary. To My surprise actually it wasn’t that expensive. For Bodrum we reserved hotel rooms and see places our own. Also, we decided to make Bodrum our last stop as we wanted to just chill and enjoy the distinctly European feels and celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary.

Cruise Sightseeing Boat.
o Drive to the Asian part of Istanbul crossing the Intercontinental
Bosphorus.
o Visit the Camlica Hill; the highest point in Istanbul.
o Drive back to European side to visit Dolmabahce Palace
17:00 back to our
hotel.
